Order Cancellation Policy


1. Order Cancellation Policy

1.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch

Customers may cancel their order under the following conditions:

a) Within 24 Hours of Placing the Order

  • 100% cancellation allowed.

  • Full refund will be issued (including prepaid shipping charges, if applicable).

  • Refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.

b) After 24 Hours but Before Dispatch

  • Cancellation requests may still be accepted.

  • Payment gateway charges (2%–3%) may be deducted from the refund.

  • Refund will be processed within 7 business days.


1.2 Cancellation After Dispatch

Once the order has been shipped:

  • Cancellation is not allowed while the product is in transit.

  • Customers may refuse delivery; however:

    • Forward and return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.

    • For large or heavy instruments (e.g., Drum Sets, Keyboards, Digital Pianos), two-way shipping charges will be deducted.


2. Return Policy

Due to the delicate and performance-sensitive nature of musical instruments, returns are subject to strict conditions.

2.1 Return Eligibility (Non-Defective Products)

Returns are accepted only if:

  • Return request is raised within 48 hours of delivery.

  • The product is unused and in original condition.

  • Original packaging, tags, manuals, and accessories are intact.

  • There are no scratches, damages, or signs of usage.

Return shipping charges must be borne by the customer.

For instruments above ₹10,000:

  • A 10%–15% restocking fee may be deducted after inspection.

Refund will be processed only after quality inspection at our Indore office.

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following products are non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons:

  • Harmonicas (Mouth Organs)

  • Flutes

  • Microphones

  • In-ear monitors

  • Reed instruments

  • Guitar strings once opened

  • Customized or special-order products

  • Clearance or discounted sale items (if marked non-returnable)


3. Damaged or Defective Products

If a product is received damaged or defective:

  • The issue must be reported within 24–48 hours of delivery.

  • An unboxing video (from opening the sealed package) is mandatory.

  • Clear photos and invoice copy must be shared via email or WhatsApp.

After verification:

  • Replacement will be provided wherever possible.

  • If replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued.

  • Bavander.com will bear return shipping charges for verified damaged/defective items.

Claims without proper unboxing video may not be eligible.

4. High-Value Orders (Above ₹25,000)

For high-value instruments such as Drum Sets, Digital Pianos, and Premium Guitars:

  • Serial numbers are recorded before dispatch.

  • Products are quality-checked and video-documented.

  • Refund will only be processed after complete inspection.

  • Any damage due to improper handling after delivery will not be covered.


5. Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

  • COD is available for orders up to ₹10,000.

  • For orders above ₹10,000, partial advance payment may be required.

  • If a customer refuses a COD order without valid reason:

    • Shipping charges will be recovered.

    • Future COD orders may be restricted.


6. Refund Timelines

  • UPI / Bank Transfer: 3–5 business days

  • Credit/Debit Card: 5–7 business days

  • EMI Payments: 7–10 business days

Refund timelines depend on banking partners and payment gateways.

7. Important Notes

  • Customers are advised to carefully read product descriptions before purchasing.

  • Musical instruments may require tuning and basic setup after delivery.

  • Slight tonal variations are natural and do not qualify as defects.

  • Bavander.com reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet policy conditions.
